Miriam Booy

Miriam Booy has a diverse work experience in the non-profit sector. Miriam started their career in 2006 as a Program Support Manager at FAR Sudan. After that, they worked at World Vision Canada from 2010 to 2014, first as a Grant Program Manager and later as a Regional Program Manager for East Africa and West Africa. From 2014 to 2016, Miriam worked at World Vision South Africa as a Program Quality Team Leader. Miriam then returned to World Vision Canada and held various roles including Operations Manager, Director of Collaboration, and Director of Philanthropy Enablement Services. Currently, Miriam is working as the Operations Lead for Programs at World Vision Canada.

Miriam Booy completed their Bachelor of Arts in International Studies & French at Trinity Western University from 2002 to 2006. Miriam then pursued a Course in Project Design & Proposal Writing at Humber College in 2006. Later, they obtained their Master of Arts in Rural Planning & Development from the University of Guelph from 2008 to 2010.
