Annelise Thornton

Annelise Thornton serves as the Chief People & Culture Officer at World Vision since January 2024, bringing extensive experience in human resources and organizational development. Previously, Annelise held the position of Global Director - People & Culture and Governance at VisionFund International from May 2020 to May 2023. Annelise also worked at FieldCore as the Region HR Director for Europe from February 2018 to May 2020, and as the Organisation Effectiveness Director at Granite Services, Inc. from January 2012 to January 2018. Earlier roles include HR Manager for UKISA & MEA at Juniper Networks and Contractor Manager at Three (Hutchison 3G). Annelise began the career at Dell BV as a Human Resource Manager. Annelise's educational background includes a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from The Open University and a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Cape Town.
