Chris Whitney has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Starting in 1990, they served as the Housing Development Director at NORTHWEST BALTIMORE CORPORATION until 1993. In 2001, they were the President of Jubilee Enterprise for one year. In 2006, Chris joined World Vision as the Director of International Resource Development for one year. From 2008 to 2010, they held the position of Program Officer and Country Program Manager for South/Southeast Asia at World Vision. Chris then became the Senior Director of the Sponsorship Quality Team at World Vision from 2010 to 2014. From 2014 to 2017, they served as the Senior Director of Global Portfolio Strategy at World Vision, where they provided strategic guidance and leadership in designing international development funding portfolios. Lastly, they became the Senior Director of International Programs Strategy and Operations at World Vision in 2017, where they oversaw a 200-person team managing over 500 programs across 55 countries and was responsible for the allocation of $224 million annually.
Chris Whitney has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross and a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Notre Dame.
