Michael Grant has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Michael has extensive experience in supply chain management, emergency logistics, and procurement. In their most recent role as Head of Global Supply Chain at World Vision, they oversee the procurement and distribution of resources for the organization's programs worldwide. Prior to that, they held positions such as Technical Director and Emergency Logistics Manager, where they managed emergency response supply chain teams and developed supply chain strategies for delivering humanitarian aid in challenging environments. Before joining World Vision, Michael worked as a Support Services Manager for World Vision International and held leadership roles at Chapman Freeborn Airchartering, Sinopec International Petroleum Company, Australian Drilling Associates, and other companies. In the past, they attended HMAS Nirimba Royal Australian Navy Apprentice Training Establishment RANATE from 1987 to 1989, where they obtained a Trade degree specializing in Boilermaker and 1st Class Welder. Prior to this, they completed their secondary education at Clontarf Beach State High School from 1983 to 1985.
