Yonas Genene

Yonas Genene, FCCA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive auditing and management experience. Since June 2019, Yonas has served as the Regional Senior Auditor at World Vision, following a tenure as Senior Auditor at HST from October 2018 to May 2019. Prior to these roles, Yonas worked at TMS Plus Chartered Certified Accountants and as a Senior Auditor from March 2016 to September 2018. Yonas’ career includes a significant period at Hope for Children in Ethiopia RDA, where responsibilities spanned from Finance Manager to Accountant between April 2010 and April 2015. Additional experience includes serving as a Youth Leader at Afrika InTouch in collaboration with Hope for Children in Ethiopia RDA and as Senior Accountant at THE EXPRESS TRAVEL GROUP. Yonas began the professional journey as an Accountant at Maria Luisa Frezza Enterprise. Yonas holds a Chartered Certified Accountant qualification from ACCA and an Associate's degree in Accounting from Unity University.
