Zaid Awamreh

Zaid Awamreh, PMP, HSC, currently serves as Technical Manager at World Vision since February 2023. With a diverse background in humanitarian and development sectors, Zaid has held significant roles including Acting Deputy Country Director and Program Director at Relief International, Economic Recovery and Development Coordinator and WASH/Shelter in Partnership Advisor at the International Rescue Committee, and Area Operations Manager at Terre des hommes foundation. Zaid's earlier experience encompasses leadership positions in the Global Shelter Cluster and the Norwegian Refugee Council, among others, focusing on shelter, WASH, and emergency response. Zaid holds a Master's degree in Disaster Risk Management & Climate Governance from Universidad Alfonso X El Sabio, a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Jordan, and a short Master degree in Humanitarian Shelter Coordination from Oxford Brookes University.
