Sarah Cruz started their career as an Administrative Assistant at Pacific Utility Installation in 2004. Sarah then became a Project Coordinator at BRE Properties from 2005 to 2006. Sarah later worked as an Administrative Assistant at Oakley, Inc from 2006 to 2011. During this time, they also served as an Event Coordinator and Facilities Coordinator. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as an Internet Marketing Content Writer at Collective Clicks and as a Staff Writer and Intern at Victorian Homes Magazine. Sarah's role as a Staff Writer at Titan Newspaper lasted from 2008 to 2008. In 2009, they joined O.C. Roller Girls as a Marketing Communications professional. Sarah also worked as a Copywriter for Powersports Marketing at Advanstar Communications from August 2010 to December 2010. Sarah then served as a Creative Director and Chief Storyteller at Saddleback Church from April 2011 to July 2022. Currently, Sarah is working as a Creative Director at World Vision USA starting in July 2022.

Sarah Cruz attended California State University, Fullerton from 2006 to 2009 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies. In 2006, they briefly attended Saddleback College, focusing on Graphic Design. In 2016, Sarah enrolled at Fuller Theological Seminary, pursuing a Master's of Theology and Ministry degree.
