Alastair Parsons

Alastair Parsons is an experienced technology professional currently serving as the Field Chief Technology Advisor and Partner Solutions Manager at World Wide Technology since December 2012, where responsibilities include providing technical expertise for OEM partners and managing go-to-market strategies. Prior roles include Head of Engineering & Architecture EMEA, where Alastair led a team of Pre-Sales Engineers and Architects, and Consulting Solutions Architect focused on innovative outcomes for datacentre technologies with major global finance clients. Previously, Alastair worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at F5 Networks and as a Principal Consultant at Anix Group, with a specialization in NetApp solutions. Alastair was also the Managing Director at AMP Consultants Ltd and served as an Infrastructure Delivery Consultant at O2(UK). Alastair holds a BEng in Electronics Engineering from the University of Hull.
