Aaron Clausen

Aaron Clausen is an experienced conservation professional with a focus on sustainable ranching and habitat management. Currently serving as a Manager at the World Wildlife Fund since April 2021, Aaron oversees the Sustainable Ranching Initiative in Montana, promoting sustainable meat production and grassland management among local land managers. Previously, as a Senior Program Officer at WWF, Aaron coordinated the same initiative, working directly with ranchers on sustainable grazing practices. Aaron's background includes roles as a Senior Biologist at Pheasants Forever, where habitat and conservation projects were developed, and as a Program Coordinator at Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks, focusing on river restoration efforts. Aaron also has experience as a research ecologist with the U.S. Geological Survey, a field technician, and various academic roles, holding a Master of Science in Biology from Eastern Washington University.
