Jeffrey Carr

Jeffrey Carr is the SVP, Business Development at WorldClinic and responsible for business development and marketing. As an executive leader, he has been responsible for business development, sales, contracting, strategy, growth, digital assets, and marketing within healthcare organizations. Mr. Carr has served as the Vice President of Business Development at the Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC), the largest independent healthcare accreditation organization in the US. He was responsible for business development, marketing, education and sales. During his tenure, he opened new distribution channels and successfully diversified the product mix to over 40 accreditations. Mr. Carr restructured business development and sales personnel from geographic regions to product verticals. He expanded the organization into the international market as a global leader in telehealth, pharmacy and remote patient monitoring accreditation.

Prior to URAC, Mr. Carr served as the Corporate & Consumer Services Growth Officer for 26 years at Inova. His leadership focus was on physician and employer business development, hospital services, employer and producer partnerships, employee benefits, strategic relationships, marketing, contracting, community advocacy, digital health and ambulatory care services. Mr. Carr served as the lead for go-to-market strategy and, with a leading insurer, rolled out a new business entity and helped contribute to acquiring 150,000 members in the first 20 months as the fastest growing insurance company in the US. He developed premium services and the first consumer and employer-based concierge subscription program within a health system in the US. He also commercialized new services benefitting multiple service lines directly serving more than 2,000 employers nationwide and opened employer-based clinics for government agencies and at private fortune 500 employers. Mr. Carr has extensive experience building sales and business development teams. He has provided consulting and training for other high profile health systems and employers across the country. Mr. Carr is a resource and subject matter expert speaker across the globe and very active in the community serving as a volunteer for dozens of organizations with a focus on youth development.
