Netsayi Noris Mudege

Senior Scientist at WorldFish

Netsayi Noris Mudege is a highly experienced senior scientist at WorldFish since February 2020, managing multiple projects funded by notable donors such as USAID, GIZ, NORAD, and the World Bank. Previously, as Gender Research Coordinator at Centro Internacional de la Papa from May 2013 to February 2020, Netsayi provided scientific leadership and coordinated gender work across four CGIAR centers in multiple regions. Prior experience includes serving as a Gender Advisor at the Royal Tropical Institute and as Associate Research Scientist at the African Population and Health Research Center, where project management and dissemination of findings on population and health issues were key responsibilities. Netsayi began an academic career as a lecturer at the University of Zimbabwe. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Social Science from Wageningen University & Research and an MSc in Sociology and Social Anthropology from the University of Zimbabwe.
