Ricard Plans

Ricard Plans has a diverse work experience in the travel industry. Ricard started their career in 2000 as the Director Regional for Catalonia, Balearic Islands, and Andorra at Panavision Tours. In 2011, they became the Sales Manager Spain at Worldia. From 2016 to 2022, Ricard held various roles at ACAVE, serving as the Vice President for Tour Operators. During the same period, they also worked at ECTAA, where they served as the Spanish Delegate for the Committee of Destinations and Sustainability, Deputy Director of the Spanish Board, and Delegate of the Tour Operators Committee. Most recently, starting in 2022, they joined Transrutas as the Commercial Director.

Ricard Plans completed their undergraduate studies at the Universitat de Barcelona from 1995 to 2000, earning a degree in Derecho. In 2003 to 2005, they attended CETA, where they pursued a degree in TURISMO with a field of study in AGENCIA. Recently, in 2021, Ricard enrolled at IMF Smart Education and Universidad Camilo José Cela for further education. Ricard pursued a Master of Business Administration - MBA degree with a field of study in Empresariales at IMF Smart Education. Moreover, they pursued an MBA degree with a specialization in Marketing Digital, focusing on Administración y gestión de empresas, general, at Universidad Camilo José Cela.
