Jake Schogger is a highly experienced professional with a strong background in business development, marketing, copywriting, and legal consulting. Jake has worked for a variety of companies, including Commercial Law Academy, Fresh Perspective Communications, WorldLabs, City Career Series, Self Employed, Ignition Law, Booking.com, Whisk & Drizzle, Bright Network, and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.

In 2020, Jake founded Commercial Law Academy, a comprehensive e-learning platform for aspiring commercial lawyers. From 2018 to 2019, they were the Founder & CEO of Fresh Perspective Communications, a copywriting, business development, and digital marketing & social media company. In 2019, they were Head of Marketing & Business Development at WorldLabs, where they worked closely with the founders on their business, brand, and outreach strategies. From 2014 to 2019, they were the Founder & CEO of City Career Series, a publishing company that offers resources directly relevant to the recruitment process for a range of City careers. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Career Coach & Consultant, working with an ex-Magic Circle recruiter to deliver an in-depth bespoke career coaching programme for students and graduates targeting careers in commercial law. In 2018, they were Counsel / Consultant at Ignition Law, helping to define and communicate the company's experience and expertise. Jake was also a Freelance Copywriter for Booking.com, writing copy for key destinations, attractions, tours, beaches and City breaks. In 2018, they were Head of Brand, Sales & Marketing / Co-Owner of Whisk & Drizzle, a luxury bespoke cake company, where they were responsible for the company's branding, marketing strategy, PR/communications initiatives, corporate customer and supplier relationships, events and exhibitions, business administration and website content/structure/UX. In 2018, they were University Partnerships Manager at Bright Network, where they helped to define the company's value proposition and pitched it to universities with the aim of developing and maintaining strategic partnerships and cross-marketing opportunities. Finally, from 2016 to 2018, they were a Trainee Solicitor at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where they drafted a range of transaction documents, produced research notes, carried out due diligence exercises, advised on data protection and e-privacy law, managed cases and transactions, and assisted with business development projects.

Jake Schogger attended Queen Elizabeth's Boys School from 1999 to 2006. Jake then attended University of Warwick - Warwick Business School from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Law and Business degree in Law, Business, Finance, and Marketing. In 2015, they completed an Accelerated Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School.
