Jeremy Ramer

Senior Systems Architect at Worldplay

Jeremy Ramer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Jeremy started their career as an Engineering Intern at MCK Communications in 2001. Jeremy then worked at Mentor Engineering as an Embedded Software Developer from 2003 to 2006. During this time, they gained expertise in developing embedded software. Jeremy then joined Headplay in 2006 as a Software Engineer / Team Lead, where they developed embedded software for the Headplay Personal Cinema System and also worked on peripheral drivers and user interface development. In 2009, Jeremy joined Worldplay as a Software Development Manager and later became a Senior Systems Architect. At Worldplay, they designed and implemented the VidflexTM Video Management Platform, performed technology evaluations, integrated video players and analytics reporting, and developed proprietary video encoding technology and container formats. Jeremy has demonstrated strong technical skills and leadership throughout their career.

Jeremy Ramer earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Calgary, where they studied from 1998 to 2003.
