Harshad Sawhney

Harshad Sawhney, CFA has a diverse work experience starting from their time at Boeing as a research team member and webmaster for the Abhyast Phase IV research team. Harshad then had a summer internship at Deutsche Bank, where they focused on applying pair trading strategies. After that, they joined WorldQuant as a Quantitative Researcher, Senior Quantitative Researcher, and eventually Vice President of Research. In 2021, they became the Regional Research Director at WorldQuant. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Portfolio Management at WorldQuant. Additionally, during their time at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, Sawhney was a student and later became the Coordinator of the Robotics Club. Harshad also worked on various projects, including building a Rubik's Cube solving robot.

Harshad Sawhney, CFA completed their B-tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering with a minor in MBA from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, from 2011 to 2015. Prior to their college education, they attended Saint Paul School in Kota, although specific degree and field of study information is not available. Harshad also obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in September 2019.
