Tsambika Jeffries

Tsambika Jeffries has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Tsambika is currently the Director of Enterprise & Operational Risk at WorldRemit, a global payments company. Prior to that, they held the role of Senior Director/ VP - Enterprise Operational and Financial Risk at Zepz, which powers WorldRemit and Sendwave. Tsambika also worked at Legal & General, where they held several positions including Group Head of Internal Control Oversight, Chief Risk Officer of Mature Savings, Head of Conduct Risk and Governance, Head of Operational Risk and Framework, Head of Risk Governance & Planning, and Risk Business Partner. Tsambika has also worked at UK Power Networks as a Risk, Control & Compliance Manager, at the NHS as a Risk Manager, and at Skandia as a Risk Consultant and IT Analyst Programmer. Their roles have involved overseeing internal control policies, developing risk frameworks, managing conduct and operational risks, and implementing risk improvement initiatives. Tsambika has received recognition for their work, including being a finalist for European Risk Manager of the Year and being nominated for an employee recognition award for implementing a risk assessment framework.

Tsambika Jeffries began their education at the University of Southampton in 1999 and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Management Sciences and Accounting in 2002. Following that, in 2004-2005, they attended the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment, where they obtained an Advanced Certificate in Operational Risk, with a focus on Risk Management.
