Kelsey Kidd

Sales Director Of North America at Worldsensing

Kelsey Kidd has a long history of work experience. Kelsey began their career in 2007 as a Research Assistant at Western Kentucky University. In 2011, they worked as a Field Geologist at Nomac Services, LLC. From 2012 to 2017, they were a Data Processing Sales Representative and Geophysicist at FairfieldNodal. In 2017, they co-founded Flat Gathers LLC, where they served as Sales Manager and Business Development. Finally, in 2020, they began working as the North American Sales Manager at Worldsensing, a global IoT pioneer. During their time at Western Kentucky University, they gained experience in techniques of field geology and geologic mapping. Kelsey also gained experience in collecting strikes and dips, mapping out areas of the Rainbow Basin, exploring different types of depositions in stratigraphy, examining weathering effects on sandstones, analyzing dike formations, identifying various types of faults and folds, and classifying calcium carbonate rocks and fossils. At the Bahamas Field Course, they studied cave formations, ancient soil horizons, and ancient regressions and transgressions in stratigraphy. Finally, they presented their research at the WKU Student Research Conference.

Kelsey Kidd attended Western Kentucky University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science Extended in Geology.
