Marc Vila Gómez

Marc Vila Gómez has been working in the technology field since 2014. Marc started as an Android Developer and Software Engineer at inLab FIB, where they worked with Python, Django, Docker, and other technologies. In 2018, they joined Worldsensing as a Software & Mobile Engineer, covering the full cycle of product development. Marc also became an Associate Professor at the UPC School, teaching Android and Data Exploitation and Visualization in Android. In 2019, they joined the Generalitat de Catalunya as a Training and Development Specialist, teaching Android and how to consume data from the Internet.

Marc Vila Gómez obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2016, a Master's degree in Informatics Engineering from the same university in 2019, and is currently pursuing an Industrial PhD in Computer Science at the same university, which they are expected to complete in 2023. In 2021, they were a Visiting Scientist at the Technische Universität Wien in the Distributed Systems Group. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Innovation Management from Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2019, 3D Printing from JEDI, Joves estudiants d'Informàtica in 2017, and Android Fundamentals from Google in 2015.
