Jose Mesa

Jose Mesa, Ph.D., serves as a Staff Software Engineer and Team Technical Leader at Anaconda, Inc. since March 2022, having previously held positions as a Senior Software Engineer and Advanced Software Engineer within the same company. Prior to Anaconda, Jose Mesa worked as a Facilities Engineer at Chevron from October 2018 to March 2022 and gained research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Michigan from September 2013 to September 2018. Additional industry experience includes a role as a Test Engineer at Boeing from May 2013 to September 2018. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, two Master's degrees (in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering and Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering), and a Land Surveyor degree in Engineering, all from the University of Michigan, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
