Hugo Enrique Sarmiento Osorio

Hugo Enrique Sarmiento Osorio is a seasoned professional in technology project management and education, currently serving as the Director of Technology Projects at SINTELCO S.A.S since July 2018, specializing in fiber optic solutions for cable operators and companies transitioning to this technology. Hugo has been involved with WorldSkills International as a Network and TI Expert Faculty since December 2021 and previously held the role of Chief Expert in Networking Information Skills from September 2011 to February 2019. Moreover, Hugo contributed to the Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería Julio Garavito as a lecturer in the Master's program in Electronics from January to June 2022 and coordinated academic efforts at Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje (SENA) from May 2008 to July 2018. Hugo holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería Julio Garavito and a Master's in Education from Universidad de Granada.
