Merel Visser

Merel Visser is a legal professional with extensive experience in various legal roles and educational qualifications in law. Currently serving as a Bedrijfsvoeringspecialist at Politieacademie since May 2024, Merel has also been actively involved as a Jurylid for WorldSkills Netherlands since March 2020, overseeing vocational competitions in legal services. Prior experience includes positions at Politie Nederland as a Juridisch adviseur Woo and a Casemanager schade from September 2020 to May 2024, as well as a Frontoffice medewerker at Gemeente Breda. Merel's legal background is supported by a Master's degree in Rechtsgeleerdheid from Tilburg University and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Fontys University of Applied Sciences, alongside a well-rounded early career in various legal and client services roles.
