Twan Stemkens

Twan Stemkens is a seasoned communication advisor with extensive experience across various roles within the non-profit sector. Currently serving as a Communicatieadviseur at VO-academie since September 2022, Twan focuses on developing and executing communication strategies for the professionalization of school leaders. From January 2015, Twan has been a Consultant and Strategic Policy Advisor at TST Communicatie, and a Project Leader and Senior Advisor at WorldSkills Netherlands. Previously, Twan held key positions including Coördinator Marketing and Communicatie for Consortium Beroepsonderwijs, Manager Communicatie at MBO Raad, and Corporate Communicatie Manager at Amarantis Onderwijsgroep. Twan's educational background includes degrees in communication management from Van der Hilst communicatie and a degree in History and Mass Communication from Rijksuniversiteit Utrecht.
