Lighting Account Manager at WorldStage

Peter Smith is currently the Lighting Account Manager at WorldStage, a position they have held since July 2021. Prior to that, they were the Director of Production- Lighting at WorldStage from February 2016 to May 2020. In this role, they were responsible for managing corporate audiovisual installations in New York City, as well as being the main point of contact for WorldStage's theatrical and museum clients.

From January 2015 to February 2016, Peter Smith was the Technical Director at Fourth Wall Events. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of events and ensuring that they ran smoothly.

Before that, from June 2011 to January 2015, they were the Production Designer at Tallen Technology Rentals where they were responsible for designing and oversee the production of events.

From January 2010 to June 2011, they were the Senior Project Manager at The Lighting Design Group where they managed projects from start to finish and oversaw a team of designers and technicians.

And finally, from September 2009 to December 2009, they were the Production Stage Manager at Farrington Productions where they were responsible for managing all aspects of the production process, including scheduling, budgeting, and logistics.

Peter Smith has a MFA in Theatre Arts- Lighting Design from San Diego State University and a BA in Theatre Arts from Kalamazoo College.
