Rae Ratliff has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of Program Delivery at WorldStrides, starting in 2022. Prior to this, Rae worked at Camp Fire Alaska from 2018, where they held multiple roles. As the Director of Operations and Organization Lead of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiatives, Rae led and oversaw equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts within the organization. They also served as a Senior Program Manager, responsible for COVID response accreditation and licensure operating standards, as well as overseeing daily operations of child care programs.
Before Camp Fire Alaska, Rae worked at Girl Scouts of Alaska as a State-Wide Sales Program Manager, where they were responsible for creating and implementing an action plan for the annual $2 million dollar program. They also introduced a culture of inclusive and feedback-based program improvement.
Rae's experience also includes working as a Program Growth Contractor at the Alaska Museum of Science and Nature, a Director of Academic Support at the West End House Boys & Girls Club, and an Inaugural Director of West End House Girls Camp. They have also worked as a Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Instructor and Trainer at Mastery Charter Schools and a 7th Grade English Teacher at Teach For America Greater Philadelphia.
Rae Ratliff holds a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Secondary English and Marginalized Populations from the University of Pennsylvania, obtained in 2008. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from Radford University in 2005. In addition to their degrees, Rae has obtained various certifications in project leadership, diversity and inclusion, lean six sigma project management, CPR/first aid/AED training, youth mental health first aid, cultural diversity facilitation, and social-emotional learning program quality assessment.
