Tim Sweeney

As Executive Vice President of Operations, Tim Sweeney oversees all operational aspects of our middle and high school travel, both domestically and overseas.

Born and raised in Boston, Tim’s passion for educational travel stemmed from a high school ski trip to Switzerland. Tim was one of the principals of Boston-based student-travel company, NETC, where he worked for 14 years before the company was acquired by WorldStrides in 2012. Prior to this experience, Tim oversaw travel agency branch locations at the American Automobile Association (AAA).

Tim is a holds a Bachelor in Business from Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire. His passions are travel, cycling, skiing, and family, all of which he enjoys each weekend in the winter in the White Mountains.
