David Bowser

Executive Vice President And Chief Operating Officer at Worldwide Clinical Trials

David Bowser has a diverse and extensive work experience. David started their career as a Captain in the US Marine Corps from January 1990 to November 1995. Following that, they worked as a Consultant at KPMG from October 1995 to February 1997, where they managed key client relationships and played a significant role in the reengineering of the U.S. Navy Space and Naval Warfare Center.

David then joined Booz Allen & Hamilton as a Senior Associate, where they developed a Project Management consulting practice within the Worldwide Technology organization. David was responsible for developing a comprehensive business plan and identifying the best strategic fit for project management solutions.

In 1998, David joined Pfizer as a Director of Project Management Operations. David led the development and implementation of a global project management system and oversaw multiple global development team schedules.

From 2001 to 2011, they held various roles at Johnson & Johnson, including Vice President of Global Medical Safety and Vice President in the Corporate Office of Science & Technology. David led a group of over 400 safety and compliance professionals and partnered with universities and inventors to identify and incubate ideas that would impact the future of healthcare.

David then joined BioClinica in 2012 as a Senior Vice President. In this role, they were responsible for providing leadership, structure, and vision while managing the company's operations. David managed all aspects of a $20 million product/service business, led a $10 million consulting services business, and played a key role in business relationship management with large healthcare customers.

Most recently, David served as the Chief Operating Officer at Worldwide Clinical Trials starting in November 2015.

David Bowser received a BA degree in Philosophy from Lycoming College from 1985 to 1989. David later completed an MBA degree in Finance from Columbia University and London Business School from 2004 to 2006. David also holds a certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
