James Cavanagh

James Cavanagh has a solid work experience history in the clinical research industry. James currently holds the position of Director, Strategic Finance at Worldwide Clinical Trials since October 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Covance as a Manager, Proposal Management from February 2019 to December 2019. Before their managerial role, they held the positions of Proposal Manager II from June 2017 to February 2019 and Proposal Manager I from October 2015 to June 2017 at Covance. James also gained valuable experience at ACM Global Central Laboratory, where they worked as a Project Manager from November 2014 to October 2015 and as a Clinical Trials Administrator from August 2012 to November 2014. James started their career at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust as a Clerical Officer from August 2011 to April 2012 and later served as a Clinical Trials Assistant from April 2012 to August 2012. Overall, James has demonstrated a progressive career growth and extensive experience in the clinical research field.

James Cavanagh has a BSc (Hons) degree in Pharmacology from the University of Leeds. James also has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Corporate Finance from the University of Liverpool. Additionally, they have a Yachtmaster™ Coastal certificate from the Royal Yachting Association (RYA).
