Sharon Hamilton

Sharon Hamilton is a seasoned registered nurse with extensive experience in behavior health and acute care settings. Currently serving as an RN, BSN at Vanderbilt University Medical Center since July 2017, Sharon specializes in adult acute behavioral health. In addition to this role, Sharon has been employed at Beacon Health System since January 2015, where responsibilities include working in a locked adult acute unit focused on patient safety for individuals facing severe mental health challenges. Sharon's travel nursing career began in December 2007 with Worldwide Travel Staffing, undertaking assignments as a behavior health nurse across various facilities in the United States and Caribbean. Prior experience also includes service as a labor and delivery nurse in the United States Air Force from July 1995 to November 1997. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Henderson State University, earned in 1995.
