Dana Dreckman

Dana Dreckman has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Dana began their career as a Manager at Barbara Jeans Restaurants from September 2002 to January 2005. Subsequently, they worked as the General Manager at Rug Decor, where they oversaw three area rug retail locations and achieved significant achievements in profit margin and sales growth from January 2005 to July 2009.

Dana then transitioned to nonprofit work, joining the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP). In the WWP, Dana held several positions, starting as a Coordinator of Donor Services from August 2009 to March 2010. Dana further advanced to become the Manager of the Giving Outreach Team from March 2010 to September 2012. Following that, they served as the Family Support Director from October 2012 to March 2014 and subsequently as the Donor Services Director from March 2014 to June 2017.

Dana's extensive experience and dedication led their to hold key leadership roles at WWP. Dana served as the WWP Talk Director from June 2017 to June 2020, where they oversaw the organization's telephonic emotional support program for veterans, spouses, and caregivers. Dana then became the Program Operations Director from June 2020 to September 2022, focusing on program alignment, change management, and integration initiatives. Currently, they hold the title of Warrior Experience Vice President, leading a team and overseeing programmatic efforts and data insights to positively impact wounded warriors.

Dana Dreckman's education history includes attending The Bolles School from 1986 to 1998, where they completed their high school education. Following this, Dana studied at Iowa State University from 1998 to 2002, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree. During their time at Iowa State University, they pursued a dual degree in French and Spanish.
