Events Manager at Wounded Warrior Project

Danielle Coker, CMP has a diverse work experience in the event management field. Danielle started their career in 2002 as an Assistant to Practitioner at South Beach O & P and worked there until 2007. In 2005, they briefly worked as a Floating Receptionist at the School Board of Broward County.

Danielle then interned at the City of Hollywood as a Special Program & Events Intern in 2008. Later that year, they joined the University of Florida as a Ticket Office Associate and also worked as an Outreach and University Support Intern at the UF Alumni Association. Danielle stayed at the University of Florida until 2010.

In 2010, Danielle worked as an Event Design Intern at Keith Watson Productions, Inc. and as an Event Coordinator at the Greater Jacksonville Area USO.

Finally, they joined the Wounded Warrior Project in 2011 and held multiple roles there. Danielle started as a Donor Relations Coordinator and then became an Event Planning Specialist. Their most recent role at the company is an Events Manager which they have been in since January 2018.

Danielle Coker, CMP completed their Bachelor's Degree in Recreation and Event Management at the University of Florida from 2006 to 2010. Danielle obtained additional certifications, including the Cvent Event Management Professional certification in July 2018, the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification from the Events Industry Council in May 2016, the Certificate of Completion in The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People from the American Management Association in July 2014, and the Certificate of Completion in Fundamentals of Successful Project Management from the American Management Association in August 2013.
