Warrior Care Network Specialist at Wounded Warrior Project

Fitha Dahana-Ellis, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 1992, they worked as a Television Presenter for Televisi Pendidikan Indonesia, conducting interviews and creating content for televised programs. From 1996 to 1997, they worked in the Special Events Department at Klub Sejuta. Fitha then joined Surya Citra Televisi Indonesia in 1997 as a Reporter and Anchor for the News Watch program, where they produced and anchored news segments.

In 1997, Fitha became a Marketing Coordinator at Caturmatra Adhiprakarsa, developing sales and promotional programs for clients. Fitha also worked with Rajawali Citra Televisi Indonesia (RCTI) to produce infomercials and commercials. From 2004 to 2006, they worked as a Media Assistant and Assistant Account Executive at Communications Pacific, providing support in creating media plans and executing client media buys.

Fitha then transitioned to the advertising and marketing industry, working as an Account Executive and Event Coordinator at Bright Light Marketing from 2006 to 2007. Fitha managed advertising and media planning for agency clients and coordinated fundraising events. After that, they served as an Account Executive/Project Supervisor at Jon Duarte Design Group from 2007 to 2009, representing the company and managing projects for large clients.

In 2012, Fitha joined Serco - North America as a Career Counselor for the Army Career and Alumni Program (ACAP), where they taught seminars on job preparation and counseled clients on transitioning from the army into civilian jobs. Fitha left the role in 2014.

From 2011 to the present, Fitha has worked as an Independent Contractor, providing Indonesian interpretation, translation, and tutoring services for companies such as CanTalk Canada, CyraCom, and Language Line. Fitha has also served as an Indonesian and Malay Translator and Indonesian Interpreter at the Tennessee Foreign Language Institute.

Since 2014, Fitha has been with the Wounded Warrior Project. Fitha started as the Hawaii Team Lead and Warriors to Work Specialist, assisting Wounded Warrior Project alumni with career advice and connecting them with employers. In 2019, they became a Talent Acquisition Specialist, managing a diverse recruiting portfolio and facilitating the hiring process. In 2022, they took on the role of Warrior Care Network Specialist.

Throughout their career, Fitha has demonstrated expertise in career counseling, translation and interpretation, event coordination, media planning, marketing, and project management. Fitha holds an MBA degree.

Fitha Dahana-Ellis, MBA, received their Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication from the University of Indonesia, where they attended from 1992 to 1997. Following that, they pursued further education and obtained their MBA in Business Administration from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, from 2001 to 2002.
