Greg Martin began their work experience in 1989 as a member of the United States Marine Corps, where they held various high-level roles such as Executive Director, Director of Operations, and Commanding Officer of the Wounded Warrior Battalion - West. During their time with the Marine Corps, they oversaw the recruitment and management of staff specialists, developed and managed programs related to career transition and recovery care, collaborated with nonprofit organizations, and played a key role in the design and delivery of purpose-built facilities for wounded warriors. Greg also represented the U.S. in international assignments in Australia and South Korea. In 2019, Martin transitioned to the Warrior Foundation-Freedom Station, where they served as President. Most recently, in 2022, they joined the Wounded Warrior Project as the Careers and Financial Readiness Director.
Greg Martin earned a Masters of Executive Leadership (MSEL) degree from the University of San Diego's School of Business, completing their studies from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Strategic Studies at The United States Army War College from 2011 to 2012. From 2002 to 2003, they attended the Marine Corps University, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Military Studies from the Command and Staff College.
