Michael Nilsen

Michael Nilsen has held various communication and government relations roles throughout their career. Currently, Michael is the Communications Director for the Government and Community Relations team at Wounded Warrior Project. Prior to this, Michael served as the Vice President for Marketing, Communications, and Public Policy at the Association of Fundraising Professionals for over two decades. Michael also has experience working as a Lobbyist at Marlowe & Company and as a Staff/Legislative Assistant for Congressman J.J. "Jake" Pickle. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in History from The University of Texas at Austin.
