Shannon Walker has a diverse work experience, starting as a Resident Assistant at the University of Georgia house from August 2015 to May 2016. In this role, they promoted community development, assisted in crisis and emergency management, and enforced university and departmental policies. Shannon was recognized with the 2016 Hill Community UGA Housing Certificate for "Most Enthusiastic". Shannon then worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences from January 2017 to April 2018. Following that, they interned at Grace Fellowship as a Grace Village Medical Clinic (GVMC) Intern from May 2018 to September 2018. Shannon then joined Ward Circle Strategies as a Senior Associate from September 2018 to January 2022. Currently, they are an Administrative Assistant for Government and Community Relations at the Wounded Warrior Project, starting in March 2022.
Shannon Walker completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health Education and Promotion from The University of Georgia. Shannon attended the university from 2014 to 2018.
