Chinmay Patil began their career as a Network Consultant Engineer at Cisco in August 2016 and worked in that role until December 2018. In January 2019, they transitioned to the role of Software Engineer at Cisco and remained in that position until October 2020.
In 2020, Chinmay joined Singapore Press Holdings as a Senior Software Engineer. During their time there, they developed a Rewards Points and Loyalty system using NodeJS microservices, built an Authentication Framework using NestJS, and created user gamification and incentivization services to increase engagement. They held this position until October 2021.
Currently, Chinmay is employed at Woven by Toyota as a Software Engineer, where they have developed an ML Training platform based on Kubernetes (EKS), Golang, and Python. They have also redesigned and migrated CI/CD pipelines from Jenkins to GitHub Actions and built an over-provisioning mechanism in Kubernetes for GPU heavy AWS instances.
Chinmay Patil completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) between the years 2012 and 2016. In addition to their formal education, they obtained various certifications from Udemy in different subjects such as infrastructure automation with Terraform, Traefik training, gRPC, Apache Kafka, Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, web development with Google's Go programming language, Amazon ECS and Fargate, NestJS, unit testing with Jest, Jenkins, relational database design, database modeling, Ansible, dynamic programming, machine learning, OpenShift, and React. These certifications were obtained between the years 2020 and 2022.
