Christopher Button

Christopher Button has a diverse work experience. Christopher is currently working as a Software Engineer at Woven Planet since September 2022. Previously, from October 2019 to August 2022, they worked as a Fullstack Software Engineer at 株式会社コンベックス, where they led the Frontend team in rebuilding the main application and mentored junior engineers. Before that, they worked as a Contract Frontend Engineer at MetLife Japan from April 2019 to September 2019.

From October 2017 to March 2019, Christopher was a Software Engineer at B-eee Technology,Inc., where they played a key role in creating a networking application for a major advertising company in Japan. During this time, they also collaborated closely with the backend team to design efficient API requests. Additionally, they had an internship as a Software Engineer Intern at AnyaUp from May 2017 to August 2017, where they implemented payment systems and improved Firebase functionality.

Before transitioning into the software engineering field, Christopher worked as an English Instructor, first as a Freelance English Instructor from May 2015 to July 2016, where they trained business students to excel in the TOEIC exam. Christopher then worked at Gaba from April 2012 to May 2015 as an Instructor, where they introduced and convinced students to join the program and consistently taught a high volume of lessons.
