Edward O'Tey

Edward O'Tey is an experienced professional in the autonomous vehicle industry, currently serving as an AV Test Specialist at Woven by Toyota since January 2022 and as a Safety Driver at Lyft Level5 since May 2018, where responsibilities include ensuring safe operation of autonomous vehicles and troubleshooting technical issues. Edward has a background in training and operations, having worked as an Autonomous Vehicle Trainer at Cruise Automation and as a Development Vehicle Operator at Uber Advanced Technologies Group. Prior to specializing in autonomous vehicle technology, Edward held various roles in project management and IT support, including positions at Electronic Arts and International Contact, Inc. Edward holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies Planning and Policy from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
