Fei Sun

Fei Sun has worked as a Staff Software Engineer in Motion Planning at Woven Planet since December 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Software Engineer in Motion Planning at the same company from July 2021 to December 2022. Before joining Woven Planet, Fei Sun worked as a Software Engineer at Lyft Level 5 from October 2019 to July 2021. From December 2018 to September 2019, they served as a Staff Autonomous Controls Engineer at NIO. Prior to that role, Fei Sun worked as a Senior Autonomous Controls Engineer at NIO from January 2017 to September 2019. They also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at San Jose State University from September 2014 to December 2016 and as a Visiting Research Fellow at NASA Ames Research Center in June 2015.

Fei Sun completed a Bachelor's Degree in Information Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications from 2005 to 2009. After that, Fei pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Information and Communication Systems from the same university, which was completed between 2009 and 2014. Additionally, Fei also served as a visiting scholar at Caltech from 2012 to 2013, specializing in Control and Dynamical Systems.
