Gaku Akachi

Gaku Akachi has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Gaku began their career at NinNin inc in 2018, where they contributed to the development of a messenger-driven online travel booking service, mainly using Ruby and Rails. Gaku then moved on to work at receptionist, where they led product development and focused on both front-end and back-end services using Ruby and Rails. In 2021, Gaku joined Donuts Co. Ltd as a software engineer, where they played a key role in developing one of the most popular Japanese live streaming services, utilizing Go, MySQL, and Redis. Gaku then worked at Opn in 2022, where they were responsible for building new services to integrate core systems with Japanese bank APIs, using Go, Ruby, gRPC, PostgresSQL, Redis, Docker, and Kubernetes. Currently, Gaku is employed at Woven by Toyota as a software engineer, starting in 2023.

Gaku Akachi attended Kanagawa University from 2012 to 2017, where they pursued a degree in Human-Science with a focus on Psychology. In December 2019, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
