Goktug Serez

Goktug Serez began their work experience in 2013 with an internship at Vestel. Goktug then worked at Blackspade as a Software Specialist, where they implemented a web-based ERP solution and developed and maintained three modules of the project. In 2015, they joined Endpoint-labs Cyber Security R&D Corp. as a Security Engineer. In 2018, they briefly worked at Kondukto as a Software Architect. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at Rakuten, starting as an Application Security Engineer and later becoming a Penetration Tester. Goktug is currently working at Woven by Toyota as a Senior Application Security Engineer since 2022.

Goktug Serez completed their education in a chronological order. Goktug obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Cyber Security from Yaşar University in 2014. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2014, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Engineering from the same university. In 2013, they participated in an Erasmus IP program at Bournemouth University, specializing in Steganography and Digital Forensics. Goktug Serez completed their high school education at Izmir Ataturk Lisesi from 2005 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Goktug Serez has acquired several certifications. In 2022, they obtained Advanced Threat Tactics - Evasion from BC Security, GIAC Advisory Board from GIAC Certifications, and GIAC Cloud Penetration Tester (GCPN) from GIAC Certifications. In 2021, they became a TECH Trainer at Rakuten. In 2020, they obtained Offensive Security Certified Professional by Offensive Security, and in 2017, they achieved Certificated Ethical Hacker v9 from EC-Council. Goktug also holds certifications such as ProLabs - Dante from Hack The Box and Offensive Security Web Expert (OSWE) from Offensive Security.
