Greg Walden

Greg Walden has a diverse work experience in various roles within different companies. Greg most recently worked as a Senior Engineering Manager at Woven by Toyota since August 2021. Prior to that, they were an Engineering Manager at CARMERA from July 2018 until the summer of 2021 when it was acquired by Woven by Toyota. During their time at CARMERA, Greg led a team that developed internal tools and pipelines to enable the company's products to respond to real-time changes in data.

Before joining CARMERA, Greg worked as a Senior Web Engineer at MakerBot Industries from July 2013 to July 2018. Greg led the development of a complete overhaul of the company's back-end infrastructure, utilizing various technologies such as Node.js and Rails. Greg fostered a collaborative environment and encouraged fellow developers to learn and utilize new technologies.

Prior to MakerBot Industries, Greg served as a Lead Front-End Web Developer at iNamics Corporation in 2013. Greg developed front-end web applications using HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery, and also worked on back-end projects using C# and SQL.

Greg's early work experience includes an internship as a Business Intelligence/IT Intern at Austin Powder Company in 2008. Greg worked on developing internal OLAP applications and collaborated with different departments to complete several projects using QlikTech software. These projects involved managing cell phone usage, displaying safety reports, and managing IT support tickets.

Greg Walden attended the College of Charleston from 2010 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2008, they attended Virginia Tech. However, no specific degree or field of study information was provided for their time at Virginia Tech.
