Jacob Mayer

Jacob Mayer has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jacob is currently working at Woven Planet as a Systems Integration Lead since January 2023.

Prior to that, they have worked at John Deere in various roles. From October 2020 to January 2023, they served as a Staff Vehicle Software Systems Engineer. Before that, they were a Senior System Engineer from July 2019 to October 2020. Jacob also held the position of an Embedded Software Engineer from April 2017 to July 2019. Additionally, they worked as a Product Engineer in both the Advanced Engineering Group and the System Test & Release department from March 2016 to April 2017, and from June 2015 to March 2016, respectively.

In 2014, Jacob worked as a Product Engineer for Engines - Harvester at John Deere. The previous year, they served as a Product Engineer for the Controls Team in the Seeding department.

Jacob started their professional career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Iowa State University - Virtual Reality Applications Center, where they worked from May 2012 to May 2015.

Jacob Mayer attended Iowa State University where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical Engineering - Controls. Jacob also pursued further education at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they completed a Graduate Certificate in Systems and Product Development.
