Jesse V. has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Jesse started their career as a Network Engineer at NTT Communications, where they served as both a network engineer and team leader for the Global Front network operations center. Jesse then worked at Northrop Grumman Information Systems as a Sr. Network Engineer, responsible for creating a shared service architecture for the Commonwealth of Virginia's Executive Branch agencies.

Jesse transitioned to Asurion Japan as a Network Engineer, overseeing network operations and managing the offshore operations team. Jesse then took a sabbatical in 2014 to work as a Software Developer, focusing on developing a point-of-sale and inventory system.

Following their sabbatical, Jesse joined Fidessa, initially as a Network Engineer and later as the Global DC Security Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for implementing and maintaining security systems and workflows for Fidessa's financial software platform.

During their sabbatical in 2020, Jesse participated in bug bounty programs and conducted security research. Jesse discovered vulnerabilities in a network security platform, leading to a CVE and OS patch, as well as a publicly exposed internal resource belonging to a major home security provider.

After their sabbatical, Jesse joined SMBC Nikko Securities Inc. as a Network Engineer, focusing on the development of low-latency infrastructure. Jesse then established their own IT consulting and software development company, Seccy Goose, LLC, where they expanded their experience in AWS and software development and published a mobile game on Google Play and Apple App Store platforms.

Most recently, Jesse joined Woven Planet as a Security Engineer in 2022. Overall, Jesse has demonstrated a strong background in network engineering, security, software development, and IT consulting throughout their career.

Jesse V.'s education history includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Religious Studies from Randolph-Macon College, which was obtained from 1997 to 2001. Additionally, Jesse has acquired several certifications, including Agile Explorer from IBM SkillsBuild in June 2022, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2022, Unity Junior Programmer from Unity in April 2022, AWS Learning certifications in Block Storage and Object Storage from AWS in March 2022, Unity Essentials Pathway from Unity in January 2021, and CCIE from Cisco Systems in September 2008.
