Jinyang Fan

Jinyang Fan started working as a Software Engineer at Woven by Toyota in February 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Rakuten from April 2016 to February 2022. At Rakuten, they held the roles of Team Lead and Software Engineer. As a Team Lead, Jinyang led an international team and served as a SCRUM master for an agile team. They designed, implemented, and maintained systems for a cross-border trading platform, facilitating business expansion. As a Software Engineer, Jinyang developed and maintained backend RESTful APIs using Java and Spring for a large-scale e-commerce marketplace. They also performed performance tuning, code optimization, and defect analysis, as well as upgraded technologies.

Jinyang Fan completed a Master of Engineering in Systems Innovation at The University of Tokyo from 2014 to 2016. Previously, from 2009 to 2013, Jinyang Fan obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Software Engineering from Dalian University of Technology.
