Koji Nagaoka

Koji Nagaoka has a diverse work experience in engineering roles. Koji started their career at Canon, Inc. in 2009 as a Software Engineer and worked there until 2017. Koji then joined Toyota Motor Corporation in 2017 as a Chief Engineer, where they worked until 2018. Koji then moved to Toyota Research Institute - Advanced Development in 2018 as a Senior Engineer, where they worked until 2020. Currently, they are working at Woven by Toyota as a Senior Engineer, starting in 2021.

Koji Nagaoka pursued their education in a chronological order. Koji completed their Bachelor's degree in the Division of Applied Science at Osaka University from 2003 to 2007. Following that, they earned a Master's degree from Osaka University's Department of Applied Physics, studying there from 2007 to 2009.

Additionally, Koji Nagaoka has obtained several certifications. In 2019, they completed the courses "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," "Neural Networks and Deep Learning," and "Structuring Machine Learning Projects" from Coursera. In 2021, they obtained a certification for "Agile with Atlassian Jira" from Coursera as well. Most recently, in 2022, they obtained the certification of "Automotive Functional Safety Practitioner - Principal" from DNV.
