Lukas Frannek

Lukas Frannek has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Currently, they serve as a Machine Learning Engineer at Woven by Toyota since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at ExaWizards Inc. as a Machine Learning Engineer from April 2020 to September 2021.

From November 2017 to October 2019, Lukas worked at Mercari, Inc. as a Software Engineer. Before that, they worked as a Data Scientist at Hitachi from October 2014 to November 2017.

In the earlier years of their career, Lukas held positions such as Field Service/Control Engineer at Greenlane Biogas Limited from June 2010 to July 2011. Lukas also worked at Bosch North America as a Master Thesis Student, where they focused on design, modeling, and control of a test procedure for high-pressure pumps in gasoline direct injection systems using statistical analysis and Matlab Simulink. Additionally, Lukas served as an Intern at Bosch Engineering GmbH from June 2008 to September 2008.

Lukas Frannek completed their education in a progressive manner, starting with a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at FH Münster from 2005 to 2007. Lukas then pursued a Master's degree in Control Engineering at the University of Portsmouth for the period of 2007 to 2010. Finally, Frannek furthered their studies by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Dynamical Systems, Stochastic Modeling, and Statistical Analysis from the Tokyo Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2014.
