Manuel Yanez

Manuel Yanez has a diverse work experience in the field of software quality assurance. Manuel currently works as a Software QA Engineer at Woven Planet. Previously, they worked as a Sr. Software QA Engineer at PROCEPT BioRobotics, where they designed test plans and test cases for an autonomous surgical robot. Manuel also wrote software scripts and served as the Jama system administrator for the company. Before that, they were a Software QA Engineer at Apple, where they executed tests for the Siri digital assistant system. Manuel also analyzed and troubleshooted automated Python test scripts. Prior to Apple, Manuel worked at Samsung Electronics America as a Software QA Engineer, where they helped develop the Bixby voice-driven Smart Assistant and developed Python scripts for analyzing test results. Manuel also worked as a Software Development Engineer in Test at Yuzu, where they tested a Digital College Textbook eReader system. Manuel has also worked as a Software QA Engineer at VerticalResponse, Asurion, and Zynga, where they tested web applications and mobile applications and designed and executed test cases. Manuel also had a brief stint at Microsoft, where they worked as an SDET and tested the new version of Microsoft Outlook for Mac. Manuel began their career at Microsoft's Tellme division as a Software Design Test Engineer, where they designed and executed test plans for voice-driven mobile applications.

Manuel Yanez holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from the University of the Pacific. Apart from their degree, they have also obtained a certification in White Box Testing and Test Automation from SQA Solution.
