Nathan Immerman has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Nathan started their career as a Lake Front Specialist at Anisfield Day Camp in 2012. In 2013, they worked as a College of Engineering Representative at the University of Michigan Central Student Government and also interned at Got2Read, a start-up. In 2014, they were a Research Intern at Lab11 - Embedded Systems Lab. In 2015, they worked as an Embedded Storage Intern at Qualcomm. Nathan then joined Fitbit as a Firmware Engineer Intern in 2016, and later that year, they became a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Michigan, teaching computer architecture. In 2017, they returned to Fitbit as a Firmware Engineer. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at Lyft as an Embedded Software Engineer in the Level 5, Autonomous Vehicle Division. Currently, Nathan is an Embedded Software Engineer at Woven Planet, where they are part of the team developing self-driving technology using machine-learned approaches for safe mobility.
Nathan Immerman completed their high school education at Shaker Heights High School from 2008 to 2012. Nathan then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering at the University of Michigan from 2012 to 2015. Nathan furthered their education at the University of Michigan by obtaining a Master of Science in Computer Science in the year 2016.
