Nathan Weddle

Nathan Weddle has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Nathan is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Woven by Toyota starting from September 2022.

Prior to this, Nathan worked at Alaska Airlines from August 2020 to August 2022 in two roles: Principal Software Engineer and Principal Systems Engineer. In these positions, they were the technical lead responsible for developing the company's software delivery, automation, compliance, and security strategies. Nathan defined best practices and standard toolsets in areas such as CI/CD, infrastructure as code, configuration management, provisioning, and observability. Nathan successfully improved efficiency and confidence in deploying business-critical applications to cloud resources and on-premises infrastructure by minimizing human involvement.

From 2015 to 2018, Nathan served as a Senior Solutions Architect at Chef Software. Here, they contributed their expertise in designing and implementing software solutions for clients.

Earlier in their career, they worked at Fred Hutch as a Systems Administrator from May 2012 to August 2015 and as a Desktop Support Engineer from March 2007 to April 2012. At Fred Hutch, Nathan collaborated with application and development teams to install and configure enterprise applications. Nathan also led the migration project for Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager.

Nathan's career started in 2002 as a PC Maintenance Technician at Spencer-Kinney, Inc., where they provided IT support and designed solutions for workstation migration.
