Sandeep Kumar

Sandeep Kumar has a strong background in software engineering and GIS (Geographic Information System). Sandeep currently works as a Machine Learning Engineer at Woven by Toyota, where they are involved in the development of an Automated Mapping Platform. Prior to this, they held roles at Esri, where they worked as a Senior Product Engineer and Product Engineer II. At Andhra Pradesh Space Application Center, Sandeep worked as a Software Engineer and was responsible for the design and development of a provincial enterprise portal for WebGIS. Sandeep also worked as a Software Consultant at Avenue Realty, where they developed a Property Portal and integrated GIS data with legal and property information. Sandeep began their career as a Software Developer Freelancer at Upwork, where they gained valuable experience working on various projects. Sandeep also worked as a GIS Engineer at Local Insights and completed internships at Municipal Corporation Chandigarh and Municipal Council Kishangarh, where they focused on GIS database creation and web portal development. Additionally, Sandeep served as the National Web Manager for NOSPlan - Organization of Students of Planning.

Sandeep Kumar earned a Bachelor's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the School of Planning & Architecture Vijaywada, completing the program between 2014 and 2018. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Data Science and Engineering at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani from 2019 to 2021.
